Ingredients
- Two tbsp of basmati rice
- Turmeric (a pinch)
- One tbsp of peas
- Vegetarian stock
- Extra vergin olive oil

Introduction

Bianca really does love rice: I always give her a good carnaroli or arborio through "risotto". This time, i choose the aromatic basmati so that she can taste a new flavour. Firstly she has been impressed by the colors of the ingredients (green and yellow); than, she has shown her appreciation from the first teaspoon! 

If you want to make the rice more creamy add some parmesan cheese or thain sauce.


Directions

- Cook the basmati rice together with the peas into the vegetarian stock (I Made it boiling 1/2 onion, 1 carrot and some stalks of celery for about 15/20 min. Usually you can put one part of rice into 2 parts of stock but you can also choose to over-cook it till the "consistency" your child prefers. (In this case, add much more stock).

- Once cooked, add the right amount of turmeric till the rice becomes yellow.

- Than, one teaspoon of extra Virgin olive oil. Let warm the rice before serving. You can also add some basil or parsley.
