I really do love gnocchi with cheese sauces! The sauce of today is creamy and tasty, super easy to make: you can prepare it when gnocchi are cooking! My tip for this dish is to drain carefully gnocchi and to arrange them over a dish. Then, spread the cheese sauce all over gnocchi, in this way they won’t fall apart!
- Prepare gnocchi following this recipe.
- In a small sauce pan, heat the fresh cream with the Gorgonzola cheese, until it is melted.
- Cook gnocchi in boiling salted water until they start floating. Drain using a slotted spoon and arrange them onto a large dish. Season with the cheese sauce and the ground walnuts.
Serve immediately.
